Welcome to Wycombe High School

GCSE Success

Congratulations to all our GCSE students. 73% of all grades are A*-A and 38% A*; 60 students gained all A*-A grades; and 13 students achieved straight A*s. Despite the press speculation of volatility in GCSE results, Wycombe High School's GCSE students have excelled. Well done indeed girls - we are very proud of you and look forward to welcoming you back as Sixth Formers! Congratulations also to our Year 10 GCSE students: 82% A*-A and 45% A* grades!

A Level Success
Congratulations to our A Level Students. 76% of all grades are A*-B; 35 students gained straight A*-A grades. In the current climate, amidst the much reported expectations of result variation, Wycombe High School's results remain as strong as ever. AS results are similarly outstanding, indeed at a record high.  We are very proud of everyone.

Wycombe High School is a highly successful and very popular girls' grammar school located in the south of Buckinghamshire. The school is housed on a large, attractive site overlooking the town of High Wycombe and the Chiltern countryside beyond. The School achieved academy status on 1 May 2011. We have six forms of entry and take girls from a wide area, from over fifty primary schools, both state and private. We have approximately 1300 girls at the school, nearly 400 of these being in our Sixth Form. There are over 130 members of staff providing the girls with the teaching, help and support they require. Each year, we welcome around 20-30 students who join Wycombe High School’s Sixth Form from other schools.

We hope that you will find much to interest you on this website and on our Moodle Virtual Learning Environment. If you would like to know more about our school, please contact us or come to visit us. You will be very welcome.
