Once you find out that you have been offered a place at Wycombe High School, you will be invited to visit us in July. You will meet the Headteacher, your Head of School, your form tutor and you can ask the teachers and older students about the school. You will be made to feel very welcome.
In September, you will spend your first day in school without the older students. The most important purpose of this day is to get to know people; your tutor, the other members of your class and the sixth formers who have volunteered to help you. You will also be given the opportunity to find your way around the school site. You will almost certainly start the day feeling a little anxious but you will go home that afternoon with a smile on your face.
