Former WHS student, Annie Januszewski rows the Atlantic

Former WHS Student, Annie Januszewski and her rowing partner Melanie King, dreamed up the idea of rowing across the Atlantic. As a consequence, they are now almost three-quarters of the way into a 5,200-mile journey that began in the Canaries and will end, in about two weeks' time, in Antigua. Annie would love to receive messages of support from anyone who remembers her from Seer Green CofE Primary or Wycombe High School.

Just Giving

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of Wycombe High School on Just Giving. JustGiving helps ordinary people raise extraordinary amounts for charity. Now any student, parent, member of staff or alumnae can fundraise for those chosen charities and simultaneously raise money for Wycombe High School. Click here to find out more.

The Forum now accepts sQuid payments

Innovate, our catering partners and sQuid, have teamed up to introduce a new cashless catering system.

Students and staff can now use a pre-pay contactless smart card to pay for food and drink at the forum. It's convenient, safe and secure, and can be topped up by parents online so you don't have to bring cash to school.

Dana Morgan, Development Director

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dana Morgan as the school’s Development Director. Dana brings with her twenty years international experience of marketing interactive media technologies and five years experience of school fundraising.  Her combination of project management, creativity, and networking skills make her the right choice for the position.  Originally from California, Dana has lived in Buckinghamshire for six years during which time she has built up a network of local and international contacts.  As a parent of a Year 7 student herself, Dana is committed to working with alumnae, Governors, parents, staff and students to fulfil the school’s development plans. Dana will work closely with the Headteacher and governors at a senior level within the school.

"The overall effectiveness of PSHE education is outstanding"

These are the words of Susan Orpin, who conducted a thorough review of our PSHEE provision in October 2009 as part of the Ofsted survey inspection programme. The Inspector also reported that "All students are making extremely good progress in their social skills, particularly in terms of their ability to work as a team and undertake leadership roles.".
