Wycombe High School’s ambition is that every student enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle.  Our goal was to construct a new all-weather pitch facility complete with floodlights to extend sporting participation and success throughout the year, support both school students and the local community as well as attract lettings and income from the fee-paying public.

The cost of the first pitch came out at £725,000.  We secured funding for the pitch from past and present donations to the Future Fund, fundraising events, sponsorship and a pledge from the Garfield Weston Foundation.  The Play Your Part for Sport campaign launched in September 2015.  Construction on the pitch began in September 2017 and was completed just before the holidays in December.  The first lessons and training took place on the Monday 8 January 2018.  We are very excited about this amazing new facility for the school and local community.  Thank you to all who supported our fundraising efforts.  We couldn't have accomplished this without you.

There are still sponsorship opportunities available including perimeter fencing, team dugouts, gates, goals etc. To find out more, please get in touch by emailing Mrs Dana Morgan at
