About the role
The National Mathematics and Physics SCITT (NMAPS) is a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider, offering subject specialist teacher training in Mathematics and Physics. Wycombe High School is at the heart of NMAPS, and leads an expanding network of state and independent schools, delivering high quality training and support. We are seeking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic administrator for our SCITT programme.
This is a hands-on role, including responding to email and telephone enquiries; dealing with applications via the UCAS/DfE portal; completing various pre-employment checks and liaising with trainees’ placement schools.

- Full: Full time (37 hours per week), 52 weeks per annum, fixed term in the first instance until 31 August 2021. (Some work may be done from home during the school holidays)
- Pay Range: Bucks Pay Scale 3, point 16 - point 20 £22,244 - £24,041 per annum

About the Person
We are looking for the right person to fill this vacancy; you are looking for the right school to work in.
The characteristics that we are looking for include:
Qualified to Level 3 or above
Sound knowledge and confident use of software packages including MS Office, Excel and Outlook
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including oral, written and telephone skills
The ability to monitor and update website content - training will be provided where necessary
Creative flair and able to design promotional material, newsletters, brochures, social media content and presentations
Some experience of recruitment processes and systems, plus marketing, would be beneficial for this role
Able to prioritise workload and work quickly and accurately under pressure
Able to work independently and also as part of a team
Proactive and able to work on own initiative
Professionalism and the ability to work within defined standards and procedures
Courteous, discrete and respectful of confidentiality
Positive ‘can do’ attitude to work
Experience of delivering a high quality and responsive service
Experience of working in a busy environment and of managing workload to meet challenging deadlines
