There were smiles, celebrations and plenty of proud moments at Wycombe High School this morning as the Class of 2026 received their A Level results and prepared to take their next exciting steps.
Students achieved a broad range of strong outcomes across their subjects, reflecting two years of hard work, determination and commitment throughout their Sixth Form studies.
For our students, today marks much more than the culmination of their A Levels. It is the beginning of a host of different journeys, with members of the Class of 2026 progressing to universities, apprenticeships, employment and other exciting opportunities.
Among today’s many successes, we are delighted that 100% of students holding Oxbridge offers achieved their places, while more than 80% of those holding offers to study Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science also secured their university places.
Headteacher, Nicola Renyard, said: “We are very proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have achieved. These results represent two years of dedication, perseverance and growth, and they sit alongside the many wider contributions our students have made to school life during their time in the Sixth Form.
“Behind every grade is a young person who has shown commitment, resilience and determination. I am grateful to our staff for their expert teaching and encouragement, and to families for the support they have given throughout this journey. We wish every student the very best as they move on to the next stage of their lives, and we look forward to hearing about the paths they go on to take.”
Whatever comes next, today belongs to the Class of 2026.
