Our 2020 examination results were based on Centre Assessed grades. We are delighted with our students’ results, which reflect their hard work over time.
Given the unprecedented times, in line with other local grammar schools, we are not publishing school results on this website for the time being.
This is an excellent set of results, and a testament to the enthusiasm, ambition and sheer hard work of our students and staff, and unwavering support from parents.
That so many of our students successfully balance their academic studies with wide-ranging participation in the arts and sport is an absolute credit to them. They are a joy to work with.
I am particularly proud that our students at GCSE and A Level continue to successfully combine STEM subjects with the performing and visual arts, creative subjects, languages, and humanities ensuring our students are very well prepared for higher education and/or employment. #welookbeyond
77% of all A Level results were at A* to B grades, 45% of all grades were A*/A, and 14% of all grades were A*. 45 students achieved three or more A Levels at A*/A (around a quarter of all students). The overall pass rate was 99.7%. The results have been strong across every subject with 45% of all exam entries in STEM subjects. Of these, almost 50% were A*/A.
Wycombe High School offers 23 A Level subjects across the arts, humanities, creative subjects, social sciences and the STEM subjects; sciences, technology, and mathematics. We are pleased our students continue to combine STEM subjects with the performing and visual arts, creative subjects, languages, and humanities at A Level ensuring they are well-prepared for higher education and employment.
We are very proud of every student and are delighted to see them gain the qualifications they need for the next stage of life’s adventure. They are ready for it and I know they will continue to shine whatever their chosen path. With sincere thanks to parents & carers for their support.
