Alumnae in the news: Susanna Fairbairn, Class of 2002

Guild Music

She has been very successful within her career of singing and acting in Operas and is currently rehearsing for the Buxton International Opera Festival.

Susanna is rehearsing her role of Bess Foster in the show ‘Georgiana’. Bess is Georgiana's closest friend, mistress to the Duke - even bearing him a child - who ends up being the Duchess of Devonshire herself. The show is full of dancing and comedy, so promises to be a great spectacle. Please follow the link to book tickets to see this amazing show: https://buxtonfestival.co.uk/whats-on/georgiana

She has also announced that a new CD has been released ‘showcasing some great and little-known music with another typically mad operatic storyline and competitive soprano singing galore’. They were featured on BBC’s Record Review on 22/06/19. You can order the CD by following the link below: https://www.duttonvocalion.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=CDLX7361&cat=2
