Former Student Jill Meager Artwork Featured in Christmas Pop-Up Christmas Market
Local designer-makers will be exhibiting at St Michael and All Angels Church, Bath Road, Chiswick, London W4 1TT Sat 30 Nov and Sun 1 Dec.
Recent Inspire and Career Talk speaker Jill Meager, class of 1974, and fellow Chiswick Creatives are holding their Christmas Pop-up again this year. This event includes 14 carefully curated designer-makers selling their products in The Michael Room at St Michael and All Angels Church W4.
As well as the Hare tea towel, Jill has made a new Robin tea towel especially for Christmas and a new set of cards: A Box of Beasties to feature alongside A Box of Hares and A Nest of Birds. There will also Jill’s individual cards and her Limited Edition Prints.
Jill has once again designed the Christmas card for InterAct Stroke Support - a sprightly Robin holding a sprig of Holly (see below). If you would like to order some, they are £5.00 for 10 and available on the InterAct Stroke Support website here or you can buy them at the Pop-up. InterAct Stroke Support was the brainchild of theatre director, Caroline Smith. Stroke survivors are now the charity's key beneficiaries. InterAct understands that stroke is a life-changing event and that recovery is a lifelong process. The charity has grown and thrived.
For those in the South West, Jill has a show opening this Friday at The Ashburn Gallery in Ashburton Devon and her solo show of birds and beasts at the Jane Newbery Gallery in Dulwich continues until 10 December.
