Christmas Fair raises over £850 for House charities

All Years Whole School

Many students from a range of year groups eagerly came along, excited for what the fayre had to offer. The main hall was bustling with students and teachers, the atmosphere uplifted by Christmas music playing loudly.

There was a wide variety of stalls, with something for everybody. Some of the stalls included Christmas decorations, candy canes, bracelets, nachos, raffles, lucky dips, pick ‘n’ mix and lots of baked goods. Sing-o-grams, another WHS Christmas tradition, were also available to order. Also being sold was the WHS merchandise. Stall runner, Anna, said she loved working on the stall: 'everyone is smiling and happy – there is a Christmassy atmosphere.’

With all the sales, and everybody’s kind contributions, an incredible £850.00 was raised in total for the house charities.  All in all, another very successful WHS Christmas Fair.
