GCSE Results Day Thursday 20 August

Important information for external students hoping to join our Sixth Form in September 2020

In the light of current Government guidance, we will not be open to visitors on GCSE Results Day and all applicants will need to verify results and complete the application process virtually following the process outlined below.

Wycombe High School’s Sixth Form is oversubscribed. Early application is strongly advised. Space in our Sixth Form for qualifying applicants post GCSE results day is rare.

This process applies to external students who, post GCSE results, have met our 48 point entry criteria and:

  • who have previously applied to us but were not originally made a conditional offer
  • any student who would like to make a late application to our Sixth Form

Please note those already holding a conditional offer from us, have already received a separate letter and these applicants should follow the process in the letter. Where any applicant is disputing a grade with their current school and has not met Wycombe High School’s entry criteria (including subject specific entry criteria) it will not be possible to make an offer.

As soon as possible on Results Day and by 12 noon as far as possible

The attachment must be the full results slip and include all personal details at the top of slip. Any results sent without this information cannot be considered.

Please not we cannot accept telephone or face to face ‘drop-in’ enquiries on Results Day.
