Destination: 1901.
Passengers: 192 Year 7 students.
Time travelled: 125 years.
Our Year 7s became Wycombe High time travellers, journeying all the way back to 1901, the year our school was founded, for a very special induction day as part of our 125th anniversary celebrations.
And what a journey it was!
Our intrepid time travellers explored treasures from the school archives, discovered what life was like in 1901, sang songs from the era and put their imaginations to work designing a car fit for the turn of the 20th century.
And then there was the dancing! 💃

It was a wonderfully different way for our newest students to discover the history of the school they have just joined and to realise that they are now part of a Wycombe High story stretching back 125 years.
And while our time travellers looked back to where that story began, we’re also looking to the future.
Our 125th Anniversary Giving Days aim to raise £12,500, helping us provide even more opportunities for today’s students and the generations of Wycombe High students still to come.
Could you help us push Giving Days over the finishing line?
