Wycombe High School is delighted to announce that Imaan, a student in Year 8, has been named the school’s new Poet Laureate.
Imaan impressed the judges with her thoughtful and original composition, which earned her first place in this year’s Spirited Poetry Competition, organised by Mrs Knight from the Religious Studies Faculty.
The competition invited students to explore themes of belief, identity and reflection through poetry. Imaan’s winning entry stood out for its creativity, depth and emotional impact.
