Today’s edition of Head’s Up! marked the end of an extraordinary chapter in the history of Wycombe High School.
After 37 years of dedicated service, Mrs Green is retiring from the only school she has ever worked at. During her time at Wycombe High, she has served as a Teacher of Chemistry, Subject Leader, Head of Year, Head of Sixth Form, Cover Supervisor, Cover Manager and, most recently, Music Administrator.
In this week’s programme, Headteacher Nicola Renyard pays tribute to a colleague who has touched the lives of generations of students and staff through her kindness, commitment and unwavering dedication to the school community.
The programme concludes with a very special farewell as students perform a specially adapted version of the Beatles classic Yesterday in honour of Mrs Green’s final day at Wycombe High School.
The show also features updates from Work Experience Week, with Year 12 students gaining valuable experience with employers across the region, and a reminder about the school’s upcoming 125th Anniversary Community Carnival.
Thank you, Mrs Green, for everything you have given to Wycombe High School. You will always be part of the Wycombe High family.
