A-level/GCSE results this week – all you need to know…

This year’s A-level results will be published tomorrow (Tuesday 10 August) with GCSE results to follow on Thursday.

This year, following the cancellation of A-level exams nationally, grades are being awarded through a process of school assessed grades, determined against a national standard and approved and awarded by the national exam boards.

Additionally, at Wycombe High School, students participated in a system of ongoing assessment throughout their A-level courses. This, and the national system, means our A-Level grades are based on extensive and robust evidence.

The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.

If you are one of this year’s 189 Wycombe High GCSE-students, or if you are thinking of transferring to our Sixth Form, to study for your A-level exams, more information can be found at www.wycombehighschool.com here.
