Wycombe High student, Aoife, is the talk of the school, after her “brilliant” performance hosting the High-Q Harry Potter Special.
Headteacher, Sharon Cromie, described the Year 7 pupil’s WHTV debut as “brilliant and outstanding” adding “Aoife was so confident and coped so well presenting the show on her own. She’s truly a TV star in the making”.
The theme for the quiz was chosen by Aoife, who describes herself as “a complete Potterhead”. The gameshow climaxed in the first-ever tiebreak, which was eventually won by Nikhita in Year 13 – her fourth High-Q victory. She will receive another £10 Amazon voucher, with a further £25 donation going to Wycombe Women’s Aid, this year’s nominated charity for Nikhita’s school House (Pankhurst).
High-Q is supported by the Wycombe High School Alumnae Guild.
