WHS buildings enjoy lockdown makeover

Student chatter may be absent from the corridors and canteens of WHS, but the hard work never stops as the school buildings undergo a series of improvements during lockdown.

The builders are in to improve the school site and learning facilities, as well as giving visitors a new experience when they arrive. What was Lab B is set to house the new reception, student support area and meeting room. This will be the most noticeable development for those visiting WHS, but behind the scenes things are just as active.

The Miller study area is being refurbished and is set to feature glass partitioned study spaces while the Technology department are entering a whole new world! A new Graphics room is coming together to replace the small food room while additional cookery stations are being added into the large food room and the graphics room will be relocated and redesigned.

It’s all go at WHS.
