Anyone who has ever made Wycombe High their home knows that the Christmas season only begins when the Music Department says so! This year, festivities will begin on 9 December with a live-streamed Christmas Concert, followed by the ever-spectacular Carol Service on 15 December.

As well as showcasing the amazing talents of WHS musicians and singers, the shows will both be raising money for Age UK Buckinghamshire, and you can donate at & After the success of the Autumn Concert, the two events will be going out LIVE to the world, and can be streamed on the Wycombe High TV Youtube Channel

Music Captain and presenter for the Christmas Concert, Year 13’s Anna, can’t wait. “This concert has something for everyone of all ages, from singalongs to Christmas classics,” she said. “The money raised from the concert this year will all be donated to Age UK Buckinghamshire who provide support and care to the elderly, needed now more than ever. Anyone who donates will be entered into our Christmas raffle! I am looking forward to putting a smile on people’s faces who are watching at home. This concert is definitely one that you don’t want to miss.” Anna will be taking hosting duties alongside her fellow captain Evie.

One of the Music Department’s many maestros, Mr Kidd, also is chomping at the bit to kick off the festivities. “Both events will be very special this year. We are really looking forward to showcasing the musical talent of the students and bringing students, families, and friends together in the true spirit of Christmas. The Christmas Concert will feature a range of ensembles that are ready to share plenty of festive cheer, whilst the Carol Service will showcase the excellent talent of the school choirs in a unique and special service. We hope to welcome you to both events, which will be live on Wycombe High TV, for two brilliant evenings of music.”
