Creative Cerys crowned WHTV logo competition winner!

Year 8’s Cerys was congratulated by Headteacher Mrs Cromie, who surprised the Bronte student in her English lesson to announce her design as winner of the WHTV logo competition.

Cerys claims the much-desired £50 Amazon voucher prize for her wonderful design, which reimagines the Buckinghamshire swan which is central to the WHS crest, as a newsreader. Not only will the logo be used on the WHTV channel, but an image has also been framed for display to students and visitors alike in school.

@WycombeHighSch student, Cerys, has won a competition to design the new logo for the school’s @YouTube channel, Wycombe High TV. Headteacher, Sharon Cromie, surprised the Year 8 student at the start of her English class today to present a £50 @amazon voucher. #wychighproud #whtv pic.twitter.com/TLgL2MoexW— Wycombe High School (@WycombeHighSch) December 17, 2020
