Generous Spirit helps WHS smash fundraising total for Children in Need

Wycombe High lived up to its core value of ‘Generous Spirit’ as the school smashed through its Children in Need fundraising target thanks to a range of activities organised and spearheaded by the yellow-clad SLT!

The total raised breached the £1500 margin, over £200 more than initially targeted. Staff and sixth formers came dressed in yellow while the rest of the school were encouraged to wear yellow headwear on the day, and a range of other events also lit up the school.

A raffle to win Noodle Nation vouchers and self-care kits was run alongside a Bake Off. The SLT also coaxed various teachers into performing the Friends theme song, which was used to incentivise donations, being released when the total reached a certain level. There is still time to donate and raise the tally even further.
