This week’s edition of Head’s Up! comes from the heart of Wycombe High School, the Wainwright Learning Centre. Opened in 2006 and now home to more than 13,000 books, the Centre remains one of the busiest and most vibrant spaces in the school, welcoming students from 8am until 5pm each day.
In this episode, Mrs Renyard talks to Mrs Jahchan, our Learning Centre Manager, about what makes the space so special and how it supports students in their learning.
The programme also celebrates the launch of the second year of the Sixth Form Futures Programme, delivered in partnership with John Hampden Grammar School, which provides exciting opportunities for students to study beyond the A Level syllabus.
Finally, our Wycombe High HTV reporters showcase just a few of the 100+ clubs and societies on offer at Wycombe High, highlighting the rich and varied experiences available to all our students.
