Head’s Up! Mental Health Awareness Week Special Focuses on Student Wellbeing

How do we support student wellbeing at Wycombe High School?

In this special edition of Head’s Up! for Mental Health Awareness Week, Headteacher Mrs Nicola Renyard is joined by Year 12 Student Peer Mentors Alexandra, Modupe and Zoe to discuss the importance of mental health, kindness, wellbeing and supporting one another.

Together, they explore the role of Student Peer Mentors, the wide range of pastoral and wellbeing support available across the school and practical advice for students dealing with stress and anxiety during exam season.

The programme also features a special video created by our Year 7 students sharing the little things that make them happy.

At Wycombe High School, we are proud to provide outstanding pastoral care and wellbeing support through our tutors, Heads of House, counsellors, The Hub and trained Student Peer Mentors, helping to ensure every student feels supported, listened to and valued.
