In this special edition of Head’s Up!, Headteacher Nicola Renyard is joined by Head of Year 7, Erika Sage, and Senior Pastoral Lead for Years 7 and 8, Andrea Paskins, to talk about how Wycombe High is preparing to welcome 192 new Year 7 students this September.
As part of the school’s transition programme, staff have already visited more than 60 local primary schools to meet the students who will be joining the Wycombe High community in the autumn. Meanwhile, the Wycombe High TV student production team has been hard at work creating support videos, including Top Tips for New Year 7s and A Guide to the Wycombe High Houses, designed to help new students feel part of the school before they even arrive.
