#HerGameToo campaign praises WHS sports reporter initiative

At the start of the current season, Wycombe Wanderers FC recruited three students from a local school to produce weekly match highlights video reports for their three women’s teams.

This week, the initiative has been praised by Lucy Ford (pictured), co-founder of the new equality campaign,#HerGameToo, who asked to meet the three students from Wycombe High, an all-girls school in the town.

The story, and the students’ interview, featured on this week’s Wycombe High TV news bulletin, a programme produced entirely by students at the school.

Lucy told WHTV: ““We recognise the great work of three students from Wycombe High School producing excellent weekly content for Wycombe Wanderers Women’s social media platforms and we are pleased to hear that these students got the opportunity to attend a recent Wycombe Wanderers game to see their media team at work.”
