Wycombe High students, Grace and Charlotte, were presented with flowers this morning by Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Jonsmyth-Clarke, as a “thank you” from the teaching staff for presenting this week’s Christmas Concert Live!
The charity spectacular was watched live by more than a thousand people around the world and the TV coverage was an all-student production.
The event also raised more than £2,000 for Wycombe Homeless Connection.
Headteacher, Sharon Cromie (Staff) said: “Huge thanks and congratulations to our wonderful Music Department, the WHTV production team, and and all the many students who performed so magnificently. It was a truly magical event and it was an absolute joy to see all our students having such a good time – together again”.
UPDATE:
James Boultbee, CEO at Wycombe Homeless Connection has just written to students to say: “We are very grateful to the students of Wycombe High School for choosing to support us, and for raising this fantastic sum which will allow us to keep helping over the winter. Congratulations on a stunning concert!”
