Mirror Marvels! Students reflect on market-stall selling success

Twelve Wycombe High students turned market traders – and sold nearly £300 worth of their decorative mirrors and other merchandise at Marlow’s Late-Night Christmas Shopping event.

The young entrepreneurs created their company, ReflectHer, as a Young Enterprise project and their stall attracted lots of interest… and buyers, including Headteacher, Sharon Cromie.

It was Team ReflectHer’s second success in as many weeks, following on from their victory in a recent Dragons’ Den style contest, competing against other local schools.

Safiyyah, one of the twelve members of Team ReflectHer, said after the Marlow event: “It was hard work but it went really well. Our stall was really busy and we sold lots of items”.

Team ReflectHer, who are all in Year 12, are: Safiyyah, Brenda, Hanfa, Farah, Hamnah, Lily, Malaika, Prisha, Saakshi, Zainab, Eryn and Mahdiyya.
