his week’s edition of Head’s Up! comes from the School Hall, where all 192 of our Year 8 students showcased their Bronze CREST Award projects.
Presented by our Director of Science, Mrs Fallon Bayly, the programme explores the incredible range of investigations undertaken by students as part of this nationally recognised STEM initiative. From health and sport to technology, sustainability and the natural world, students selected topics that interested them, carried out independent research and presented their findings to parents, staff and fellow students.
As Mrs Bayly tours the showcase, she speaks to students about their projects, discoveries and the challenges they overcame along the way.
The Bronze CREST Awards help students develop valuable research, analytical and presentation skills while encouraging curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking. The showcase also highlights Wycombe High’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of women in STEM.
