Wycombe High School is celebrating a record-breaking start to the new academic year, as more than 200 students joined our Sixth Form this morning and were warmly welcomed by our Head of Sixth Form, Sarah Ellis.
Among them are more than 70 students who are new to Wycombe High – a clear reflection of the outstanding opportunities, support and sense of community our Sixth Form provides.
Ofsted inspectors recently described Wycombe High as a “beacon of excellence”, and we are proud that so many students are choosing to continue their education with us at this exciting stage in their lives.
Headteacher, Nicola Renyard, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome a record number of students into Wycombe High’s Sixth Form this year. It is inspiring to see so many young people choosing Wycombe High as the place to pursue their A-levels. Our dedicated staff, wide range of subjects and vibrant community make our Sixth grow, and I wish all our students every success over the next two years.”
