Today, Wycombe High School proudly hosted STEAM Fest 2024 – a fantastic event that brought together over 100 Year 7 students from Wycombe High, Aylesbury High, Sir William Borlase, and Great Marlow Schools.
The challenge? To design and model a fighter jet ejection seat! The Hall was buzzing with excitement as students showcased their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork throughout the day.
We were thrilled to welcome Lyn Roast and Zenia Khajotia from AtkinsRéalis, who shared their expertise and inspired everyone with their insights into the exciting opportunities available in STEAM careers. Their message about breaking down barriers for women in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics resonated with students and staff alike.
Events like STEAM Fest highlight our commitment to empowering the next generation of innovators and leaders, and we are so proud of all the students who took part.
