In the words of our Headteacher, Mrs Renyard, this year’s title was chosen because “it speaks to the energy and confidence that flow through our corridors every day. Whether it’s in the classroom, on stage, on the sports field or in the wider world, Wycombe High students step up, speak out and take the lead.”
Inside, you’ll find an inspiring mix of student journalism, photography, artwork and creative writing, as well as reflections on school trips, special events, awards, and everyday moments that make Wycombe High such a unique and uplifting place to learn.
This year’s edition also pays tribute to the trailblazing women of history who have shaped the world we live in, and whose stories sit proudly alongside those of our students, past, present and future.
Take The Lead was written, designed and edited by students with support from staff – a true team effort and a shining example of what makes our school such a beacon of excellence.
