“The Wycombe High School Girls have been tremendous!”

The High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Debbie Brock, heaped praise on Wycombe High students, following their victory in the recent Magistrates Court Mock Trials competition, organised by the education charity, Young Citizens.

“I think they’ve been incredible in the face of some pretty stiff competition because there were lots of schools involved in the Mock Trial competition this year,” she said, adding: “The Wycombe High School girls have been tremendous and really take away with them some real life skills for the future”.

Ms Brock paid tribute to the Wycombe High Year 9 students during a visit to the school to present them a shield for scoring the highest marks of any school in Buckinghamshire. It is the first time Wycombe High has won the trophy since 2002.
