Over the past two days, our entire Year 7 cohort swapped the classroom for the streets of High Wycombe as they put their Geography fieldwork skills into practice.
As part of their studies, students investigated a range of urban issues and explored the solutions being used to improve and develop the town centre. The fieldwork helped bring key geographical concepts to life while providing valuable evidence for their upcoming group projects.
From traffic and transport to public spaces and regeneration, students worked as real-life geographers, observing, recording and analysing features of the local environment.
The visit was a fantastic opportunity for Year 7 to apply their learning in a real-world setting and develop the practical skills that are such an important part of Geography.
