VIDEO: “Magnificent” students talk about today’s A Level results

“Magnificent” – that’s how Wycombe High School Headteacher, Mrs Sharon Cromie (Staff) described this year’s A Level students, whose “excellent” results were published today.

Here’s Mrs Cromie’s statement in full: 

Congratulations to Wycombe High School’s A Level students. They have achieved excellent A Level results and we are extremely proud of them. They are simply put, a magnificent generation of students, who have role modelled resilience, determination, perseverance, flexibility and optimism throughout their Sixth Form years and the pandemic. We send them every best wish for their futures beyond Wycombe High School and know they will continue to have a positive impact wherever life leads them.  

27% of all A Level grades are A*

63% are A* to A grades

86% are A* to B grades

100% pass rate 

76 students achieved three or more A Levels at A*/A, with 20 (more than 1 in 9) students achieving 3 or more A* grades. Over 80% have gained access to their first-choice universities.
