We’re delighted to share that Wycombe High TV, the UK’s only student-led school TV channel, has been Highly Commended for Best Online Content at the prestigious Shine School Media Awards! 🏆✨
Year 10’s Faith and Year 7’s Aida did a fantastic job representing our 100-plus strong student production team at the glittering ceremony at Stationers’ Hall, near St Paul’s Cathedral in London. It was an inspiring day, which was preceded by fun workshops for students.
The judges were full of praise for WHTV, saying:
“Every school should have its own TV channel! Innovative and well-produced, WHTV is above all watchable and fun. The judges enjoyed the interviews with teachers and other staff and were delighted to see talent on screen from across the year groups.”
We’re so proud of all our WHTV students. This national recognition is a wonderful celebration of their creativity, commitment and teamwork.
Congratulations, Team WHTV – keep shining! 💫🎬📺
