WHS Chemistry students hope to have the winning formula

Wycombe High Chemistry students donned their white coats and safety goggles this afternoon – hoping to win a national Chemistry Contest and cash prizes.

The Schools’ Analyst competition, organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry, enables competing Year 12 students, nationally, to demonstrate and expand on their existing knowledge, skills and aptitude through practical experiments based on “relevant societal or industrial problems”.

The overall winning team from each region will receive £50 prize vouchers each with a prize of £500 for the winning school.
