We are delighted to share that our Headteacher, Mrs Nicola Renyard, has been nominated ‘The Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School‘at the 2026 Pearson National Teaching Awards.
The nomination recognises Nicola’s pioneering Flexible Working Strategy, introduced to support staff wellbeing while helping tackle the national challenge of recruiting and retaining teachers.
The initiative has already had a significant impact, with staff turnover expected to fall this year and the number of applications for vacancies at the school more than doubling.
