Wycombe High School was delighted to welcome pupils from Disraeli, Chepping View and Castlefield Primary Schools today for our exciting Primary School STEAM Day, part of our ongoing commitment to engaging and inspiring young learners across our community.
Supported by a team of enthusiastic Wycombe High Sixth Formers, the visiting pupils took part in a range of interactive sessions across Technology, Science, Computing, Art and Mathematics. From creative problem-solving to hands-on experiments, the day was packed with opportunities to explore, discover and be inspired.
The event is part of Wycombe High’s wider Primary School Outreach Programme, which aims to share our passion for learning and foster strong links with local schools.
Two weeks ago, the outreach programme continued with a musical twist, as our talented Lower School Wind Band went on tour, performing for pupils at High Wycombe CofE Combined, Abbey View and Chepping View Primary Schools. Each performance was met with warm applause and big smiles – a true celebration of the power of music in education.
A huge thank you to all our student volunteers, staff and partner schools for making these events such a success. We look forward to welcoming even more young learners to Wycombe High in the future.
