We are delighted to see Wycombe High School’s upcoming 125th anniversary celebrations featured in the Bucks Free Press.
The article highlights how the school will mark 125 years of pioneering education for girls with a series of special events bringing together students, staff, alumnae and the wider community.
Founded in 1901 with just 18 pupils, Wycombe High has grown into one of the country’s leading girls’ grammar schools, educating nearly 1,400 students today and continuing its proud tradition of academic excellence and opportunity.
Our anniversary year will celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our community past and present, while looking ahead to the next chapter of innovation, ambition and opportunity for girls and young women.
Wycombe High was named The Sunday Times Parent Power Secondary School of the Year in 2023, and our Sixth Form has been described by Ofsted as a “beacon of excellence”.
