Wycome High students triumph at Nottingham hockey tournament

Wycombe High School U19s are celebrating after winning the Nottingham Hockey Plate in a nail-biting finale.

They won four, drew one and lost one in the group stages. And the final, which finished 0-0, was settled by sudden death penalty flicks.

Wycombe High hockey coach, Craig Nevard, said: “What a great way to start the new school year. Congratulations to all the players. They were terrific!”
