Congratulations to our Year 10 students, who represented Wycombe High at the awards ceremony for the British Computing Society’s Cyber Security competition after designing and programming educational games to promote the safe and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
Two Wycombe High teams took part in the national competition, creating interactive games to help students understand how AI can be used positively to support learning, while also highlighting the importance of using it responsibly.
Team Dunkin’, made up of Tiya, Maithreyi, Emily and Smrithi, created a hangman-style quiz game where players answered questions about AI to reveal the next letter.
Team Soapy, featuring Sophie and Amna, designed a 2D platform game that challenged players to complete levels while learning key facts about AI.
We are delighted to congratulate Sophie and Amna, whose innovative game earned them an impressive second place in the Year 10 competition.
Well done to all six students on this fantastic achievement and for representing Wycombe High so brilliantly.
