Wycombe High School is delighted to congratulate Year 8 student Nishta on her selection for this year’s prestigious Under 14 Wimbledon Invitational Tournament.
The event brings together just 16 of the world’s most talented young tennis players, making Nishta’s invitation a truly exceptional achievement and recognition of her dedication, talent and hard work.
In a special WHTV interview with Aida, Nishta talks about how she felt when she received the news, what she’s most looking forward to about competing at Wimbledon, and what the opportunity means to her.
We also hear from our Director of Sport, Mrs Urquhart, who explains why being selected for the tournament is such a significant milestone in a young player’s tennis journey.
Everyone at Wycombe High is incredibly proud of Nishta and wishes her every success at Wimbledon.
